The most decorated and exported African Dancehall talent, Mr. Nii Armah Mensah JR. Professionally known as Shatta Wale has released his much-anticipated “ Voice Of The Crown” EP.
The “Voice of the Crown” EP has a total of five top-notch productions. The five songs were produced, mixed and mastered by the young Shatta Movement Records label sound engineer prodigy, NawtyBoi and Shatta Wale himself.
Moreover, the “Voice of the Crown” EP has no international or local features. The masterpiece is a collage of different styles of Shatta Wale. The African Dancehall King incorporated all the marketable and trending sounds across the globe. It includes different genres such as Afrobeats (“God Is Here”, and “Street Crown”), and Dancehall ( “King In a Life”, Stacks Pon Stacks” and “Stay Focused”)
Also, “Voice of the Crown” EP addresses societal problems and themes like “poverty”, “hustle” and more. It also talks about “wealth”, “royalty”, “grief” and the need to believe in oneself. In “God Is Here” for instance, Shatta Wale apostrophically addressed Poverty and asked it to stay away from him.
