Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress, Mustapha Gbande has asked EOCO to leave Shatta Wale and focus on former appointees.

Gbande inferred that it should focus on retrieving the state funds stolen from former appointees is a better decision for the country.
Gbande to EOCO
Ghande who doubles as the Deputy Director of Operations at the Presidency made this point on a Facebook post.
Ghande mentioned that it would benefit the country more if the EOCO boss concentrates on retrieving the stolen state money.
He also jokingly called on all potential BHIM fans at the EOCO to let Shatta Wale be.

“All the Bhim nation members in EOCO, please leave our boss alone. Let us focus on retrieving stolen money from former appointees worth hundreds of Lambos other than ours,” he wrote.
Regarding Shatta Wale’s inability to name the seller of his Lamborghini, Gbande said that the ‘street’ doesn’t use receipts because it is a place of hustlers.
“We can’t even identify the seller. The street market does not have a receipt. We beg the street is hot,” he wrote.
EOCO released Shatta Wale

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has been released after meeting his bail conditions. He expressed his gratitude to EOCO officials including Raymond Archer.
Also, he went on a TikTok live session and thanked his fans who showed support throughout the period he was detained.
“As I said, One Don is safe and I’m home now and I just want to say a big thank you for supporting me, for being around me in times like this because I needed you guys.”
