The draw for for the 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League season was held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.

The ceremony saw English Premier teams drawn with the best teams in Europe. Former UCL winner from England, Liverpool and Manchester City will face 15-time winners Real Madrid in the league phase of the Champions League.

Also, Tottenham and Newcastle will both play the reigning champions, PSG.

The new 36-team league UCL format will have 6 EPL teams compete for the ultimate in Budapest.

Chelsea will have the opportunity to show their newfound form against Spanish rivals, Barcelona. Meanwhile Arsenal will have a chance to stage a revenge against Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich
